Volleyball Sporting Group

If there is to be any sporting group I could join later in my life, it would have to be volleyball.

I would pick a volleyball sporting group because I love volleyball. Volleyball is my favorite sport because I love everything that it has to do with and its very interesting to play it. I love the feeling you get after a nice hit or a nice block, and it feels much better when you win.

Another reason would be, that I love the stress involved in volleyball. It’s a very refreshing type of stress, like its annoying to feel in the moment, but it feels amazing when you’re able to ride the stress to have a great performance.

In conclusion if I was asked to pick a sport to join a group in, it would be volleyball because of the spiking, blocking, and the stress involved.

How can tech be used to solve problems?

There are many ways in which technology can help to solve some problems. One way tech could help in solving some problems it could be with using video creation. This could help because you can send a very powerful message while using only your computer. You can have a video talking about world problems and it could make it more powerful and influencing because you show visual images. Computer programming could also help to stop hackers because, if people are good at computer programming and learn more about it, it could help to stop hackers and people who are going to try and do mischievous things on a computer, which relates back to hacking.

There are also other things that technology could be used for to solve problems. Digital citizenship could also help in solving some problems, it could help because if people how to act online it could help in solving some major problems of suicide because some people commit suicide because of people that are cyber-bullying them. Another reason it could help is because it could help us know what to do when a situation in which cyber-bullying happens and what we can do to avoid/stop it. Another thing that can be used to solve problems in technology would be research and citation. This could help because it would avoid and stop cases of plagiarism if people know how to cite things. If you are taught how to cite things thoroughly and are told the bad that could come if you plagiarise, then you would know that it’s better not to do it. This is what I believe technology could help for.

Soccer in Ghana

A couple of weeks ago I went to WAISAL, West African International School Activity League, to play soccer, and it was in Ghana. We played against Lincoln Community School, American International School of Lagos, and American International School of Abuja. We stayed there for four days and we had an awesome time. We unfortunately came third because two of our players didn’t tackle a player who was running straight through the middle. In the end though we, beat Abuja 6-0 and I was able to do a hat trick. We had beaten them 2-0 first game and we then tied with Lincoln and Lagos.  After two days of soccer and the girls winning WAISAL we had a barbecue and a hunted house at LCS that was extremely scary. My hosts were really nice and we had fun at their house. Overall this was an extremely amazing experience.
